Adrenaline Fueling?

Adrenaline Fueling?
the other night i was driving home on setting 1 (dyno tune) and noticed my EGT was 1100 just coasting at 45mph. i stepped on the gas to see if my gauge was stuck and it jumped up to 1400. after coming to a stop i started accelerating and the gauge was pegged out as high as it would go. it has done this a couple times since but seems to be acting right most of the time which leads me away from the idea of a bad probe or gauge. is there anyway my adrenaline could be fueling to much?

The Adrenaline will not fuel in PL01. Besides that it should never fuel that much at cruise speeds anyhow.
I would say you either have a blown boot or boost leak or you have a bad thermocouple. It is not often we get bad thermocouples but, it does happen. If that is the problem we can swap that out.
Also, if your truck idles for very long in reasonably cool air 188deg is not out of the question based on my experience. These trucks runs pretty cool when allowed enough time to sit at idle.

qzilla, i havent hooked up the gauges on your monitor yet so it cant be your thermocouple.
i sure hope its just the gauge and not an injector or boost leak. if it is either of these how can i check it and how often would my gauge be reading that high?

A quick and easy way to check would be to stick our thermocouple in the manifold and connect it to the adrenaline just to see if the temps are still out of whack.
If they seem normal then you either have a bad dipricol gauge or thermocouple.
