Could we keep the Beta testing talk out of this thread please.
This is for us customers who just got our production units, not Beta units.
No problem, I wasn't trying to turn it in to a beta testing thread, just trying to help with some questions.

so the CEL went out and when i checked it with a fellow chapter members Smarty it was the MAP low voltage input. I cleared it and hasn't come back.
Still trying to figure out al the settings on the Pulse.
the turbo temp works great, but the high idle won't come on. It did when i first installed it.
One more question. On the updates page what's the difference in models?
I'm pretty sure i have the 1000 series, can i download the 2000 series tunes?
I don't think i need all the different settings offered as i have the pulse to do those.

IIRC the high idle only works when you are in level 0 I am not %100 positive, but I am sure someone will chime in and correct me if I am wrong. Don't worry you will figure all the settings out on the Pulse just give it time. I have had one for awhile and still don't have all of it quite figured out. Since you have the pulse you can down load any of the 2000 series tunes and set the turbo timer and high idle settings via the pulse. 1000 tunes are the production tunes, 2000 tunes are aggressive tunes, 3000 is just plain wicked, and there is a dyno tune on the website.

So if you down load the aggressive tunes is PL1 still the fuel saver?
Also when the Hot unlock is available what will that give us?

Yes PL1 is always power saver. The Hot Unlock is something I am not sure about. It may possibly be the custom tuning aspect of the Pulse. Not Sure but I think Quad said what it was in the Beta thread but good luck finding it. Just Give justin a call at Quad or Pm Quad and you'll get your answer.

Yes, the "Hot Unlock" will be the custom tuning.

High Idle--If you have a tune downloaded with the warm-up feature, the high idle will come on after your selected wait time (with the Pulse) or after the 2 minute delay (Recon style monitor) until it reaches the selected warm-up temp.
If you want high idle to come on at any time (after pre selected time--or 2 minute wait, you must put the PL at 00.

Tunes:
1000 series=Production tunes
2000 series=Aggressive tunes
3000 series=Even more aggressive tune
Dyno tune=Full fueling with pedal input (does not wait on boost to fuel)
The HP levels are all the same with the different tunes, the different tunes just dictate how fast the fueling comes on.

This is for us customers who just got our production units, not Beta units.

Everything is hooked up as instructed, with the revised instructions. As i was unhooking my Comp i was plugging in my AD.

sorry. didn't mean to.

your code is exactly what mine was, and went out exactly like mine did. Try to unpulg your main harness to the box see if it come back and goes away in a few fey cycles. I tryed mine and verifyed that it exactly what was happening.

You can update it in the truck but you have to unplug it. Same goes for the Pulse.

I just updated my pulse with my laptop without unpluging it, yesterday. I wasn't aware you had to unplug, seemed to work fine though.

Finally got mine installed and running last night. Wow! This box is awesome! Now I have some questions. If I want to update to say the 2000 or 3000 tunes, do I have to update the adrenaline box and the pulse monitor or just the adrenaline box? If I just have to update the adrenaline box, what circumstances would you need to update the pulse monitor? Also, any way to change the display to read Oil Temp. instead of Trans. Temp. since I have a manual I installed it to monitor engine oil temp. not tranny. Or will it just always say Trans. Temp?

So as far as the PL levels go what are the difference's of them?
I know PL0 is off PL1 is fuel saver but what about the others? Are some of them just timing or are all of them timing and fuel?
