Adrenaline boost pressure

Is there any way to adjust the boost reading on the Adrenaline / Pulse? Mine shows 6 psi lower than it is. I have tried 2 mechanical guages and my water meth injection and they are all the same reading but my pulse dosen't show anything until the others hit 6 psi then it starts reading and is 6 psi low all the way through?

Maybe my MAP sensor is going bad?
Anyone have theese issues?
As far as just figuring 6 lbs of boost, I can handle that. But what I am curios about is the fueling of the Adrenaline coming on different than it should.

Mine has always read about 6-8psi low... Doesn't bother me though... Once it is up above 65-70psi who cares?

Try this.

Take your box apart. You will see a small vertical black jumper on the board. Remove this jumper and see if that solves your boost issue.

Evidentally you can get a MAP sensor for an 01-02 truck that will read like a 98-00 truck and vice versa. We have not put our finger totally on how to tell yet but, we know it happens somehow. I would venture to guess this is not the stock MAP sensor though.

For the 98-00 guys that don't have a jumper on the board we included one in the packaging in the even this pops up.

Also on a 01-02 truck if you take it off and you are reading more than 0psi at idle this could make it do some funky stuff, so put it back on.

Wait...now I'm lost. I've always had my suspicions the boost reading was low (0 psi at 75mph with cruise set). I'm a 99 with a 3 month old boost sensor (replaced it trying to determine what was making it read low),

Should I try pulling this jumper?

What would explain a high reading? My pulse reads 4psi higher than my boost gauge.

Typically the difference in a 98-00 and a 01-02 is right at 5psi.

When at idle it should read 0. If it reads 4-6 at idle then we might want to do something.

If you are showing 0 at idle but, you are always 4-6 psi low then that is also another area where it makes sense to try messing with the jumper.

Not sure who, what or why but, I have personally seen trucks with a perfectly normal MAP sensor for a 2002 that read perfect for a 98-00?? No idea why or how but, it was not the factory sensor.

This is not always the cure, it is normal for our reading to be a little different than an analog bosot gauge. First and foremost the analog gauges have poor accuracy and the tolerance is 20% or higher for most of them. That is why they are so cheap. There are some good ones but, they are pricey. Second, we are taking a reading at a whole different spot than a typical analog gauge. IF you are measuring in the airhorn and we measure in the actual intake manfiold it is going to be different. You combine those 2 things and 2-4 psi is not that unusual. You can believe whatever gauge you want but, ours is showing you what your ECM is basing all decisions off of. Good enough for Cummins, good enough for me!

Thanks for the info quad. I know that my map sensor is the original sensor (I am the original owner). But if no one knows why maybe this could be the problem. As far as the warranty, If I take the box apart will it VOID the warranty?
