Adjustable Valet Switch?
Hey there, well I was reading that Manual Boost Controller thread and didn't want to hijack but seen a few ideas in there I wanted to expand on it with its own thread. What I am talking about is an Adjustable Valet Switch for our 12Vs. The newer ones you can turn a dial on a computer for adjustable power, well I am not a big fan of electronics and such, so I want to keep my good ol mechanical pump. But I also want to run upwards of 400-450hp in my truck, but also use it as a daily driver, so when it gets slippery outside such as rain, or snow, sleet, ice, whatever, or just when I want to save my mileage in stop and go traffic I can adjust the fueling from there. So I was wondering if anybody has any idea of a adjustable valet switch for our trucks? Any ideas won't be shot down, and I imagine with all the guys on here we should easily come up with a solution. Thanks guys.

There used to be a member here ( https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...er.php?u=19075 ) That makes adjustable valet switches - aint cheap but anything thats cheap usually isnt much good anyway. I have no idea if hes even around anymore but you might want to try him.

SMC corp makes an adjustable control valve that works on 12volts. You open/close the valve by a 0 to 10 volt input via and adjustable pot. I have one to put in my truck. It's not cheap at all, but does what your looking for. They're used on automated industrial machinery for pneumatic controls.

My ag sprayer uses an electric ball valve like this to control pressure

It would be a way overkill size wise but would work. Think you might have trouble finding a smaller one anyways.
Problem would be knowing where you are pressure wise, you would have to be at high boost while adjusting it to see how much you are throttling it down.
