99 Cummins Stock(today)
I have a stock 99 2500 Cummins with 180,000 miles on it....I am wondering if I should even try to do any performance updates to this or not? Does it have too many miles to be adding performance parts.....if not what would be the recommended parts and it what order should I add them since it will be one at a time as the budget allows!

I have 200,000 on mine with no issues and you can see what all I have. I would start with gauges. And depending on if you have ever had your VP replaced it will probably fail if it is the original. Is the tranny original also? If the tranny is stock you really can't add anything more than an Edge EZ or similiar non wire tap box to the truck without wiping out the tranny. I'd order an EGT gauge, fuel pressure gauge, boost gauge, and a tranny temp gauge is also nice but my DTT has never gotten over 120 degrees unless I'm sitting in traffic for long periods and I forget to put it in neutral. Then it hits 140 degrees.
