96 CTD where should i start ?

Question 96 CTD where should i start ?

Hi I got a 96 2500 4x4 with 410 gears auto trans 5" turbo back exhaust,S&B air intake,I just got a set of gauges pyro ,boost, andtrans temp.Where should be my next upgrades thanks

10 plate, 4k GSK, and tranny upgrades. Go with the 4K because it IMHO drives better than the 3K and your tranny will not allow you to shift any higher than say 2800.

That is a good start...

transmission will follow shortly after that.. Do beware tho, a 4K GSK can be quite touchy or throttle sensitive, but for five more dollars, heck why do u need more? Valve springs are a good reccomendation, but not needed per say, i dont shift past 3200 in mine.. just to avoid the valve float..

IMHO I put the 3K in for about a week then upgraded to the 4K. It is slighty more touchy than the 3K. I have not had a bit of surging ot jumping due to the toucheness. Valve springs will most likely not be a concern of yours, because you will probably not rev over 3400 with a stock auto.
