had a new transmission put in and that works fine put the mechanic says it won't charge and the dash instruments won't work. I think it's the wiring harness or PCM. am I on the right track? were is a trusted place to get a rebuilt PCM?

 

First off, was it working OK prior to the trans?

If so, check EVERY GROUND to make sure it was put back correctly, then verify every fuse..... with an ohm meter.

Grounds cause more issues than PCMs, especially 95 and newer when they protected the 5V B+ on the PCM.
