Ya the 8 inch rocks. it also does a really nice job of making vehicles disappear in all 3 lanes when i make it to the big city. its is mounted just inside the frame rail and just behind the crossmember in the the bed that way everything is still structurally intact. Some might say it is excessive (my father included) but hey who dont love tug boats and choo choo trains

PM Spyder3634 he is our #1 member AKA leader! lol Yeah my 5" is mounted the same except I took some of the bed crossmenber out. I just think an 8" would look proportional with the ext. cab lwb 4x4 and no one else has them!

It is just like an auto versus a manual transmission IMO some people love an auto and hate a standard and vise versa, different strokes for different folks! I like a stack because it throws the smoke up and over traffic which is a good thing when driving down busy streets. It is also part of the rules in sledpulling, smoke has to go straight up or straight down.

I'm curious do the guys who don't like stacks like the sound of stacks?
I personally will never go without stacks again... for the sound alone. I love the way they look, but I could live with not having stacks if my truck still sounded the same. I mean, its early november and I still drive around with my rear slider open just to hear that awesome sound!

How could it get any "older" then any other exhuast set-up? I honestly don't understand what people mean when they say that, not just you JSPulliam21 but people in general.
