Just thinking that I would like to get a 62/12 with a 65mm turbine wheel. Just wondering how fast it spools. My stock HX 35 spools slow in my opinion. I'm sure that I have plenty of fuel.

 

My truck made 496/989 with stg 5 Jammers, TST Comp, and a Van aaken for timing, and a PS 62/12, it was very clean and spooled like you wouldnt believe, it cooled pretty good also for that size stick, even with that turbo and the Mach 6s it cleaned it right up, however it would get hot quick.

 

I don't see it spooling faster than your stocker...

 

Thats fine, I just don't want something much slower than stock, but that will cool better than stock.

 

How much slower is it? 200 RPM? Does it build boost faster than stock once both are at say 10 psi?

 

Your stock turbo might also be spooling slow because it is getting overfueled and choking out. From everything I have heard the initial building of boost is a little slower but once it has a little bit the spool from there is much quiker...
