kinda depends on the truck. some people have made more with just the DRAG comp than they have with the TST comp smarty stack. with big big sticks, alot of people say they make more with just the drag comp, have no clue as to why when the TST comp is suppost the be the badest box out there except the redline. as my truck in my sig, its weird, my truck feels faster in the quarter with the TST comp, DRAG comp stack but i still have a gut feelin i would make more HP on a dyno with just my DRAG comp.

drag comp makes better peak numbers, but i'll bet if you look at dyno graphs of the same truck where only change was from drag comp to a smarty/TST comp stack, the TST/smarty has more "area under the curve" than the drag comp which will have a higher peak number.

that makes sense. TST stack makes a broader band of power while the DRAG makes good top end hp numbers. guess that would explain why my truck feels faster with the TST comp stack than with my DRAG comp alone and y my DRAG comp probably would do better # wise on a dyno

If you want to broaden the powerband just add the smarty to the dragcomp and you will still have the top end hp. On the dyno I lost 3hp and gained almost 100lb of torque with that stack.

yup good choice, but the TST/smarty stack is nice cuz you get the great low end fueling from the smarty, and serious mid and high end from the TST all the while the smarty has dynamic timing that constantly changes.

The TST is fueling only on the VP trucks...the dynamic timing comes from the SMARTY

i still dont understand how the TST comp rated at 180hp for an SO truck stacked with the great smarty STILL does not make more HP on some trucks than just a DRAG comp rated at 120hp alone. either the TST comp is overrated or the DRAG comp is heavily underated.

Best stack I have seen for HP and TQ was a TST/EZ or a Redline/EZ. On the high HP trucks the smarty doesn't produce the net dyno gain as the EZ. The smarty does drive excellent, as I have aways said the Smarty is about driveability.

120hp, just fuels higher into the rpms

i dont think the TST is rated for 180 PEAK hp...im sure its one of those things like Banks advertises, where the peak hp might only be 90-120 hp, but somewhere in your hp/tq curve you are gaining 180hp over the stock hp/tq curve.

I am using a Blue Chip FMS/ Power Puck stack on an SO pump. Horsepower was 640 last time on the rollers.
