600hp on vp44 #2 only???
so what does it take, we had the 500hp thread but now what does it take. i wanna know what HAS worked already!
i know with nitrous or W/M injection you can get there easier, but I wanna know how it can be done on #2 only, specifically on a single.
i decided for sure im sticking with a single 66mm turbo so im wondering if i'll be able to just break the barrier.
i have heard that this combo did 605hp:
HRVP44
drag comp
mach 4's
SPS66
so yea fill in your combo if you've done 600+ on #2 only with a vp44 truck!

ill be running HRVP44, TST comp, smarty, DDP5's, and a pro street or SPS66 this spring also. when you get your turbo on i wanna hear how you like it. i have a hard time deciding between the HTT and II turbo right now.
i really like the HTT 71mm turbine on the pro street tho, not sure how big the II is.

Right now i have an old set of mach 5s in. My cousin bought them a ways back. I had jammer 5s in befor, then he debombed his truck to trade it in for a cr. I inherited the machs. They are real dirty tho compared to the new 4s and 6s. I didnt dyno yet but i also dont have the head takin care of so i dont beat it to much. Im gonna step up to the 6s this spring when i do the head. I have the htt sledpuller, i got it for a good price and i didnt see the need to spend 500 more for the next step. Its spools a little slow than i like daily driving(comp on 1x5) but it is my toy truck. Once it hits tho hold the heck on. With the comp turned up tho its only a smoke show for 1st gear then it lights in second quick, but then its a smoke show for the tires. I just cant keep tracktion. I do have to stay in 3rd locked up goin over mountains because i cant keep high enough rpms in overdrive due to all the curves and speed limits. My only complaint about it is the whistle. It gets annoying on 1hr plus drives. Other than that i love it.

It's kinda cool that there are actually multiple ways of getting a VP44 truck over 600hp. I made 638hp on #2 with what is in my sig, except I did not have the Helix 2 cam at the time. The last time I had my truck on the dyno, was about 8 months ago.
