#6 Plate & 3K governer springs
I really need some help. I just installed a #6 plate and 3K gov. springs in a 95 12v and the truck misses badly starting at about 2400 rpm's. The truck is a 5 speed and has a 175 pump. TST says I need a #4 plate with 3k springs. We set timing at 16 degrees and lowered it to 13 degrees and no help. I really wanted to give this guy more power and the advantage of the 3k springs but not the fuel of a #4 plate.
Please Help!

timing should be higher than 13...go back to 16....check the overflow valve sure why not....check that ur lever is hitting the plate properly and adjust accordingly
last but not least but u just never know...are u running a stock exhaust? cause ur cat may be plugged in that 95 like u wouldnt believe
but i think ur timing is the diff get it back to 16
