6.0 Encounter

Oh yea Jim no problemo even before your new twins as I have not had the chance to feel the new ones you got in there, come to think of it not even with the wiper fluid His truck is that fancy ranch edition with all the bells and whistles, saddle leather seats and all, but it is still not a faithfull old Dodge. Running empty for over 800 miles at 14 mpg highway is not my cup of tea Goodluck,,,Rick

Anyone notice how much lag those 6.0s have?
It fricken sucks until you hit like 2400 RPM. Before 2000 RPM, there is no power.
The Duramax has a slight lag as well, but not as bad as the Ford.
Thats what I like best about the Cummins, is the power is from idle-3000 RPM. Not 1800-3200 RPM on the D-Max or like 2400-3600 RPM on the Powerjoke.
You can really tell the difference with a manual. You don't notice the lag that bad in the Allison, but drive a 6 speed and you can really feel that lag off the bottom end.

Gad , Just wait till he gets 100k on his Furd and see how well it runs then if it still does? The guys around here brag about there Furds but they seem to trade them off before the hit 100k or you cant give them away.
