5spd input shaft
I'm thinkin of getting the SB Con FE clutch, even though its a little more than what I need for now. Is the 1 3/8" input shaft upgrade really that important? I know it would be stronger, but they give the same rating as the 1 1/4' stocker. The site I found the upgrade at wants 500$, and I figure that'd be a nice chunk of change for some injectors or a new turbo. Any idea's on the input shaft question? If it helps I rarely pull anything, and I don't think there are any sledpulls in SD. Drag racing might be possible in the summers though...thanks, Andrew

IMO if you're not going to be doing sled pulls you dont need the 1 3/8 input shaft. Save your money for other mods. With just a juice you'd have to try pretty hard to hurt the stock shaft.

the only reason you'd need a billet input shaft is if you plan on doing boosted launches on the strip. However, I think you're clutch would let go before you're input shaft. Single disk clutches do not like boosted launches, which is why i'm in the market now for a dual disk.
