500 dollars and no idea

the aurora 3000 was ofered for like two months... just long enough for me to order one and install it ,then it dropped off the face of the planet.
I cant get any answer for why it was discontinued . But, it spools normal, does 50 psi no problem, and the egts are very low. I am, so far, the only person I have talked to who has this turbo. Any ways I love it .

they pulled the aurora 3000 due to a design change it is coming back out soon as a completely different turbo as far as understand . it is what they are calling a multey stage turbo . it got a divided inlet with this flapper thing in it and when it hits x number pounds of boost that flaper thing opens then when it hits were ever you set the wastgate at it blows off. they say they havent got it to surge or chatter yet and its got a 1 to 1 drive presure at 50psi of boost .

You've done all that to your truck and still have $500 left to spend?
How 'bout a mileage test? Head west on 40 toward Flagstaff and let us know how long that $500 lasts!!!
What are you guys paying for fuel in Albuquerque??
We're up to about $2.52/gal in Las Vegas (as of 4/13).
