5" Suspension Lift
I am having a 5" suspension lift installed today on my 2002 3/4 Ton 4x4......can't wait to get off work to go down and pick it up! Can anyone tell me about experiences (good or bad) with a lift this size? Does anyone have a picture to share?
Thanks!
Tom

Re:5" Suspension Lift
Don't have a 5" to share, but how about a 4.5".
A lot of smiles on the road.
Nice to see over all traffic (except Semi's )
Don't even think about parking in covered parking again. :'(
Be careful getting in so you don't strain your lower back.
Plan on getting a step stool for shorter or older riders to be able to get in. .
Hard to judge distance from your front bumper to the car in front of you when parking, pull about 2 feet farther than you think you can .
Mine, a Skyjacker (mostly), rides a bit stiffer than stock, but it's the way a truck should ride.
I haven't had it off road yet, but expect it to perform quite well.
I do have a front driveshaft vibration over 60 mph, I believe this is due to the extreme angle it exits the transfer case
Have heard that only Auto Tranny's experience this, due to the lenght difference between it and the Manual tranny.
Here's a couple of pics.
Enjoy it
