I agree with that, Tate. However, I am now finding that the idle is dropping then later correcting itself, regardless of whether I adjust the governor springs or not.
Well, yesterday afternoon, the truck started idling properly again! At this point, I did not readjust the governor springs again, so I know now it is some other issue. Beginning to think more and more, that the issue is with the Fuel Overflow Valve. Possibly the spring is bad or maybe some trash in the valve itself. Hopefully, my overflow valve will come in today and I can get it replaced today or tomorrow.
