Well I put my 4k gov spring in and what a difference they make. The only problem that I am having is that the truck is a bit jerky when accelerating now. It is really bad when the truck is cold but gets better as it warms up. I am not sure if I should back the springs of one more click or leave tehm where they are at. Keith at Forest City told me that my throttle return spring was probably loose so I am going to check that out tommorrow. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem. Thanks for any advice.

Justin, nothing new there with the touchy throttle, if you set it at initial click plus 2 and the idle didn't raise much then try to back it off one click and reset the idle if able. The jerky part is the Governor not knowing what to do, fuel or not fuel.....you just have to tweak it a bit!

I have no noticeable jerkyness....I can get it to do it, if I try and lug it alot but that doesn t count.....

I did have to raise my idle though, I asked about it, did not get a real answer, other then raising the idle is the solution. I idle at 820 to 870 now depending on temp but now I don t even notice it.

Thanks for the replies. I have been playing with them and I am getting used to them now. I made some calls yesterday and everyone that I talked to said that the 4k springs make everything a bit more touchy. So I guess I will just have to get used to it.
