I didn't really know where to post this but I will try here. Does anyone know what kinds of power mods you can do to the 4 cylinder 4BT which is the 5.9
- 2 cylinder? I want to put one in an old Chevy. I would like to get about
200HP and 400-500ftlbs of torque. I was told that this amount of power was not hard to get out of one of these little Cummins engines. I plan to run the
TH400 trans and 3.0 or 3.50 rear gears.

 

Yahoo groups has a 4BT forum, check there. Pretty much anything for the VE pumped non-intercooled 6BT is the same, with the obvious exception of Pump, Cam, etc.

They make them up to 250 HP in Marine apps.
