Front bumper, new o-ring for a valve cover bolt... Oh wait you said BOMBs..
Probably just going to crank up the boost a bit more and go with it

BTW I had a 4K rev kit and 60lb valve springs put in Tuesday. Also had it timed to 17.5 degrees

I put on the AFE Racing version filter with the 6" inlet today!
I can actually hear the turbo now and I can DEFINATELY tell a difference in power!

I think you will notice quite a difference bumping the boost up to 50. When I installed my htb 64/14 it would only go to low 40's as well..........cranked it up to 50 and WOW!

Really? Sweet.

I probably don't want to hit 50 with the stock headgaskets, do I? I was thinking 46PSI or so?

I've looked at that filter time and time again, but didn't know if the 6" made that big of a difference compared to the regular AFE filter.

Do you think the "racing" version is that much better? As soon as my BHAF gets dirty I'm going to upgrade to an AFE.....I wonder who I'm gonna order it from.....

I think for the $20 or so difference in the 2 its well worth it. The standard AFE inlet is 4.5", compared to the 6" inlet on the racing version.

Great numbers Bobcat! Are you running a 180 pump and have you had any other work done to it such as adjust the barrels/plungers? Inquiring minds need to know. I'm looking at needing more air and am torn between the sledpuller vs twins. I was at 430cc's of fuel with 191 DV's and have since upgraded to JR's laser cut. Not sure where I'm at for fuel now and not sure how 370's compare to your sticks. Now shoot for 500!!!!!!!

My 180 pump is stock. I have Scheid's laser cut delivery valves.

I guess the Stage 4 injectors I have dyno between 40 & 60HP more than the marine injectors.

I'm hoping on a Mustang dyno with a dyno operator that knows how to dyno a diesel, that I'd be over 500

Well I'm not so sure on the HP, but your torque will be for sure. I dyno'd 407/900 on a Mustang last Oct. and my current numbers on a Dynojet in Jan.

Bobcat:

Sorry to hear about the head gasket. It means the clock is ticking on mine. Time to O-ring. While you have the head off, get that pump off and turned up and calibrated at a good diesel shop. You'll top the 500 mark with no problems.
