4000rpm!!

I know its hard to get a vp44 to fuel to 4000rpm! I was told by Mark at TST that my competition series should fuel to 4000rpm! I have yet to see it! Matter of fact when i turn the tst on the truck starts cuttin in and out and sputtering real bad, and cause it to idle real bad! And whenever i do take the truck into the higher rpms 3600-3800 the trucks misses and cuts out and just does all kinds of funny things! But this is only when the tst is on, with it off it runs fine at any rpm! Anybody else have this problem? I sent the tst back yesterday so we will see what happens when i get it back!

Also was curious about the redline box? I have heard that mike from monster pumps has got a mean upgrade for it, is this true?

Try shuting the powerpuck off and see how the TST acts.

I don't know , does the powerpuck add alot of timing. I know when I turn the timing up with mt Smarty revo My TST Comp does not like it.

Mark is an awesome guy who I appreciate his work with us 24vers, but his box will fuel that high but something else has to allow to go that high, namely the smarty but even so its not 4k possible at this time. The vp just runs out of steam that high, it cant physically move the fuel.

The monster pump guy can modify a redline box to work with his pumps to get more fuel in the higher rpm ranges but it is still too early to tell.

blue chip redline will fuel 100% to 4000rpm on a vp motor and i believe it can be sent to blue chip and turned up to 5000 not sure on that part but have seen in person a redline turn 4000

It will allow 4k but its not full fuel. Dyno charts will show the power falling off.

It's full fuel to 4k rpm, but there's not enough timing capability in the VP44 to keep the power up at those RPMs.

Well i talked to mike today from monster pumps and he said they are working with the redline box to get 4000rpm out of all the aftermarket injection pumps, not just his! And i know bob wagner cant figure out how to get a vp44 to fuel hard to 4000rpm but i have seen some 24v running the redline fuel hard to 4000 so it can be done! And the same with tst! Im just starting to think that if you want a 24v sledpuller redline is the only way to go!
