4" flange

Can you get a 4" elbow for a 24v. If i got a 4" exhuast, I would like to not have a small three inch flange coming off the turbo if possible. Were would I get It and would it help me out?

Have never seen one. Believe your stuck with whatever mates with your turbine housing. Good news is the 3" to 4" flange on the downpipe should not be costing you lower Egt's...based on the info I have heard from guys with twins, going from 4" to 5".

Direct Mount Down Pipe

dansdodgediesel,

We have direct turbo mount down pipes for the 24 valve Dodges that connect to the turbo after you remove the cast elbow housing if that is what you're after. They are available in aluminized and T-409 stainless steel.

I wouldn't waste your money your not gonna see any improvement upgrade your downpipe if you upgrade your turbo to a 40 style housing. I have bd twins on my truck and I have a true 4 inch downpipe that connects to 5 inch pipe and on to 5 inch stacks I dont have any problems

I removed the exhaust elbow from the back of the HX35, installed a 3" to 4" flange and a HX40 4" downpipe. I can't say it is any different than running the 4" downpipe that necked down to 3" at the elbow.

Pricing!!

Dieselballz,

Our stainless down pipe is almost 25% less than that and the aluminized is lots less.

Mcmopar,

No but basically it's is a longer pipe that takes up the space of the cast elbow, and a connection that attaches direct to the turbo.
