4" exhaust? will I feel a difference

Put 4" MBRP exhaust on my truck today. Made a nice power difference. Better throttle response too.
Dissapointed with the sound though. Too quiet for my taste. May have to remove the muffler.
The install was kind of PIA. I'd pay someone if I had it to do over.
