I'm pretty sure you'll need 3rd gen lugnuts...

That I have, although I thought they were the same....... (?) I just got them off , take offs from a 3rd gen.

lugs nuts are the same...id assume they would fit, they only snap to the lug nuts anyway

They wouldn't fit on mine. The cap hit the rim, and would not snap onto the lug nuts. The nuts are the same.

Did you try trimning the back of the caps, like they do to make them fit the H2 rims?

they fit the front but they hit the hub in the back. they might fit on aluminum 2nd gen rims though. i tried to put the caps off my polished 17s on my steel set
