Sure, snap away. More photos now means easier install later for me. I've got a few being "Watched" on ebay right now, actually.

How bad did HTT nail you for the custom turbo?

I have a 2000 with a II 62-12. would it be difficult to install this setup on my truck and what do you think it would run.

I'll get some more pics ASAP. At the time the HTT turbos were way cheaper & Paul was working there. I didn't have no extra cost, just a housing swap, no modifications to make it work.

You would need to unbolt the exhaust housing & swap it out for a 3rd gen housing. I have a connection who can hook you up with the housings, I'm not sure of cost, but I think he sells the housings for $300+/- the cost of your housing. You will also need a 3rd gen downpipe flange [about $30] which you will need to weld on to your 4" downpipe. If you could find a fellow member with a 3rd gen stock downpipe who is willing to make a donation & cut the flange off, that is what I did. I bought 4 3rd gen exhaust brakes for 04.5 trucks off of ebay in the past for $300 brand new. You would also need a vacuum solenoid, arming switch of your choice & a throttle pedal switch. You could call Advanced Diesel Technology & Doug could get you these parts for around $200. I had $480 in my exhaust brake complete.

Attachment 20035 Here is a better picture of the dowel pin. Remove this & the 2 bolts in figure below & the actuator will spin 180*. Then just install dowel & 2 bolts, job complete.

Attachment 20036 Here is another pic of dowel.

Attachment 20037 See the horseshoe clip that is on the pivot ball.

Attachment 20038 Here are the 2 bolts which allow you to turn the actuator 180* & reinstall.

Attachment 20039 Zoom in on this one, shows the clip.
Attachment 20040 Another pic of the clip.

Isn't it just my luck that since you started this thread I haven't seen one go for cheaper than 600 bucks or so.

Something I forgot to ask. Why'd you go with this set-up rather than just some aftermarket system?

I got it cheap. A complete e-brake kit costs $1000+. I have $485 in a complete kit, everything is brand new. Another reason is that I am a sucker for challenges, I read too many posts where guys said that it couldn't be done. I deserve a "Atta boy!".

Why didn't you just get a third gen CR and you would be able to keep up with your brother.
