Thanks,

came with a large spring, a middle spring and a baby spring, it also came with some new spring seats for the bottom. they are shorter than the stock springs, and they are also installed again with the stock retainer nut and holder thing..

Well; i pulled it apart and tinkered with it today. It will now pull to 3k, so i gained about 200rpm's from my 2800, but if i tightened the springs any more it got harder to start. I think these 160's are pretty much limited to 3k rpm's wether you have a 3k or 4k kit in them. The throttle is a little more responsive now, and i like it a little better. Seems a little more peppy. But that could also be because i had the plate back about 1/8th inch, and moved it full forward while i was in there too. So pretty much from everything i have heard, and experienced; these 160's just dont really like anything over 3k without some extra work. I can turn about 3300rpm in park, but it starts popping, and smoking/missing after that. Either way id say my truck runs a little better today than it did yesterday , but i think anything over 3k rpm is out of the picture for a 160 pump. Oh well. It was worth a try.
