NHDiesel , your totally right about the tire width, these 39" x 11", have about the same clearence issues as a 37" x 12.5". Theses XL tires also have round tread, where as most tires (BF mud terrain etc.) have a sqaure tread (I'm talking about the tread sufarce in relation to the side wall). Another thing is this is my work truck, and I have to get in and out of it usually a dozen or more times in a day. A taller truck could be a real pain.
