370s vs. DVs

Looking for a little bti more fuel and cant decide between 370s or bigger DVs. I think I have the 181s? What are the ups and downs of each? Is one more towing friendly than the other?

I had 375 marine injectors put in mine a couple months ago, an just now had DVs, and from my experience the DVs added a lot more heat than the sticks, but hey i may be wrong, or tou could just go with both

Id say ur right

the DVs are what drive the fuel to the stix, the stix just use whats shoved into them.... Personally ive got the 370s already and schieds laser cuts at home.. just a matter of puttin them in...

don't get both. . you don't have a big enough turbo to get any benefits out of the dv's. i felt more power out of the injectors than i did the dv's. when i dynoed this past year a guy on here dynoed about 20hp more than me, he had everything i did fueling wise minus the dv's.

Precisely hits my concern

with doing both. I i dont have enough air even with a banks or a 100 plate to cool the fire so to say that the cummins is makin. Im so tempted to shoot in the injectors at least, but i know my turbo is not going to like it unless i drive like a grama for a while, or change out to a less agressive plate. Certainly with good twins and headwork you have enough air to burn laser cuts and 370s but if not i think u need a good (not nesseserily large like HX55) single...

I have had the Banks otto mind plate with the 370's in my truck, driving around unloaded it was really tough to see above 1100*F, one time while towing and grossing 14,000 LBS I hit 1300*F---at 100+MPH

370's with my 0 plate were not that smokey at all and were very drivable , but only after the timing was advanced. 370's tend to crackle and pop without the timing advanced

Please define the crackle and pop? Mine still has that "hesitation" or "skip"

My banks plate looks EXACTLY like yours, Funny thing I had it sitting in the back of the truck, so I checked it out.

I have not done the GSK yet, I adjusted that screw with the plastic "anti adjust" ring on it and have about 3200 before I defuel now . I am going to go with the 4K kit and springs, hopefully I will get time in the early summer.

I passed on the DV's...my set up is too smokey as it is. If I lay into it under 10lbs of boost it smokes like a freight train. DV's will only net me 20-40 HP and more heat (so I'm told) and it's not worth MORE smoke.....

I can already hit 1600* if I really try.

I picked up a set of SCHEIDS delivery valves. I am VERY happy with them, they ROCK.

I could barely hit 1500 degrees before, and had no smoke at WOT.
Now, I can get 1600 easily and have LOTS of smoke at WOT.

Very happy with them. The stock turbo spools like crazy!

IMO, hitting 1600 is not a good thing and all that smoke is wasted power, DONT get me wrong i LOVE smoke but not after my turbo has spooled

Go wth the 370s then get a turbo then go with dvs
