You said you can't peg your EGT guage, 1400 sounds a bit on the hot side?? That is where I bought mine too.

The engine can handle high egt's for short periods of time.....i.e. 10 seconds or less. I peg my 1500 degree guage regularly, just don't hold it there long. I've also heard that it is bad to chop the throttle quick after a high temp run because it can cool things too quick and cause exhaust manifold cracking and possible other damage. Just going by what I've heard and what I do.

I have to really work hard to get the 12v past 1300. The 24v will see 1500 with twins on a long pull for 40 seconds or so pulling 33,000 lbs. That is the only time I see over 1300 on my 02. I dont hold those temps long. I just back it down to 1300 and run it there. As far as rowing through the gears, it is hard to get it to 1300. That 60psi of boost keeps her cool.

I can hit 1400+ easy with mine. Under 10# of boost they'll smoke like a freight train. I don't see a haze at idle, but I can smell it, it'll make your eyes water if the windows are down and it's idling. They make good power, run smooth, but they make way too much smoke. I got 'em from Piers.

Having said that, I don't like 'em anymore, I'm looking for something that makes more power and less smoke. I heard Piers is selling Lenny's EDMs now....

Who do all of yous buy your delivery valves from? I was lookin at Piers website and they got delivery valves and high flow ones. whats the difference and for ten dollars more you can get the high flow ones. i just wanted to know if you could put delivery valves in with stock injectors. Would this work?

Thanks
Cody
