i have the 370's delivery valves and injectors, they are amazing, however i still have a stutter around 1200 rpms, kind of annoying but i got used to it, i was told as soon as i advance the timing it should go away, we'll see.

How about you get a pyro before you burn it down..... That won't be to cheap

What year truck is it?

Do a few things now or spend $1,000's to fix them later.

How old are you?

I agree totally get a pyro soon. Boondock I don't think age matters that much, just because someone is young doesn't mean they're stupid.

The 370's are the marine injectors.....they haze and smoke because the spray pattern is for the marine piston. Different bowl shape.

I got mine from Piers too.....

This has alot to do with driving habits. If you move everything forward your foot becomes the govenor, and you depend on your pyro to tell you when to back off alittle. I don't think boondock meant anything by this.

Looking at the injection pump on the top in front of the AFC the things that are coming out and running to the injectors are the DV's.

Yes you can slide the AFC forward and move the plate forward turn starwheel forward keep in mind that all of these increase fuel and EGT and will make it smoke pretty good. Small increments goes a long way full forward isn't always the best. A 3kgsk or4kgsk is good to, it will spread the power out over the rpm band it runs about $125 from piers. You will hav to keep adjusting until you get it where you want it and can stand the smoke and I know you have already heard this to much but get the pyro first.

If the plate is already maxed and you want more, grind it to a #100 and enjoy.
