35/40 Hybid vs Super B

Hey guys.
So Im currently runnin a hybid I got brand new fom HTT. Ive slightly thought about switching to a Super B. Dont know if I will, mainly Im wondering.. whats the ai flow dif between the two?
My Hybid is 60/58/12 and the super B is 57/65/14. I found on BD's site that the super B's flow is 870 cfm.
Anyone know the flow rate for a hybrid?
HP wise they seem really similiar. Super B is rated for 425 and the Hybid for 400.
And obviously cooler egt's between the 12 and 14cm exhaust housing.

As for what it'd be doin if I did switch, all thats in my sig below plus Im throwing in some Mach 1.6 next spring. I tow medium weights and love to dag at the track.

Just curious, feel free if ya have any info. TIA.
Ian

Edit. I just found this s300. Same size as a Supe B, am I missing something? Why is it better/ handle more power?

The super B is a far superior turbo in the simple fact that it's an S300 based turbo. The inducer may be smaller but will flow much better because of the extended tip tech. You also don’t have to worry about the weak shaft that's associated with the hybrid.

Some where on here there's a chart with turbo flow rates measured in feet/min.

I may be interested in your hybrid if you decide to get rid of it. I would much rather have a super B but I've got a turbo mount exhaust brake and don't want to spend the money on changing a turbo and buying an in line exhaust brake.

That is the ONLY reason I am still running my Hybrid, I would much rather have one of Pat's Super B's as well

Wow. Well heck guys, I didnt know the dif was so big, Ya got me thinkin about it more now haha.

If I decide to swap, I have a buddy at home thats interested, but doesnt think he'll have the money, (17 in school) so I will be throwin it on here first thing.

Dodge 24, its so good cause if you already have a HX-35, its a pretty cheap upgrade to get more air. I had an HY and got the hole hybrid brand new from HTT however ... not realizing that I couldve got a super B for the same price .

Awesome thanks for the info just what I was wonderin!

Why send it anywhere. You can buy the kit and put it on yourself. There are cheaper kits out there besides HTT's and they are the same thing by the way.

dont you still need to turn the pocket the compressor wheel sits in, on a lathe?

I had to when I did my 58mm htt hybrid.....

Yup, the existing recess isn't big enough for the hybrid compressor wheel.

Yea exactly, it needs to be bore'd out a little to make room fo the bigger compressor wheel is what ive read.
However, I have seen kits that sell the compressor wheel and the compressor housing I believe.
Which I had to clock mine to fit and it seems like you could just take the compressor housing off the HX35 and replace it with the housing from the HX40. Is this right?

Dodge 24, no i havent dyno'd my truck, been waiting for injectors to get on the rollers.
Me and my brother added up and figure im at about 350 rwhp. And the Hybid does real good with my curent set up. But I wanna throw in some 90 hp sticks and possibly stack a smarty so wanna go with a super B or s300.
My goal is 450 rwhp (hopin for a little more) and still be able to tow, plow, and its my DD.

DodgenIt, on your edit. The link you gave and the BD are the same turbo, the basic S300G 57/65/14. BD may do something with the bearings, but I'm not sure.

95Ram.. Thats what I figured. I knew they were the same size. Just wonderin why the pice dif.
BD says their turbo is good to 425 and Tim's tubo says good to 450 hp.. but is less money.
Maybe cause Tim's just not as big a name as BD huh.

I dont know what they include. Ours has a down pipe and a heavy duty wastegate actuator that we add.
