33's on stock chrome wheels?
I have a set of 33x12.50 super swamper TSL radials, & am wondering if I could run these tires on my stock rims??? I had a set of wild country's that were 33x12.50 on 16.5" aluminum wheels (american racing I think) & they cleared just fine, but I didn't know if the stock wheels would cause problems??? thanks Dusty

I think they should fit ok, they may rub the control arms a bit. However, the centers of the tires will probably wear very quickly because of the slim stock rim.

I would not nout those on anything narrower than an 8" rim and the stock chrome rims are only 6 1/2 inchs. The best thing to do is to contact Interco and ask them.

Re:33's on stock chrome wheels?
the TSL's are 16's I was just saying that I ran a set of 33's that happened to be 16.5's, and on the aluminum wheels( also 16.5's, but not sure of backspacing on those) they worked ok, no scrubbing, etc. with the tires not mounted(the TSL's) the beads that seal around the rims, don't look to be much more than 6 1/2" apart ( outside to outside ) the tires are also 10 ply so I won't have to run huge aounts of air in them, I was just worried that the backspacing on the stock rims would cause them to rub more so than the 33's I had on the 16.5" aluminum wheels?? what do ya'll think??? Thanks, Dusty
