330s in a 12v ?

I keep seeing people say the 370s will make my TC cringe with displeasure.
So.... how about the 330s? can i run them without causing any major damage?
Or what are my options?
I just need some more power, and some more smoke, that fogging the tailgaiters is addictive

I'll vote no. My TC went shortly after unstalling 215's. Your best bet is to talk to a tranny guru.

if 215s shot your tranny, even in my limited knowledge, i think you may have had a problem already.

I only have some minor mods, more than 215s would provide i think, and on occasion ive been known to stnad on it in a brake torque for a good while

The tranny never gave me a bit of grief running an 8 plate and the 3K GSK. I swapped in the 10 and the injectors and noticed slippage immediately in 3rd lock-up. Hauling my camper and pulling a boat to the lake killed it.

But, it sounds like you have your heart set on getting the 330's. Go for it. No sweat off my......

Just go for the 370's.. The converter will go out sooner or later anyways. Just do it.. Plus they are the same price new..

Get a 3k GSK till you can afford some tranny upgrades. You will love the GSK.

I assume you mean the TC lockup clutch? Power braking is in fluid coupling mode and the clutch isn't in the mix.

With stock injectors, I toasted my TC lockup clutch with 3k GSK and a #4 plate fully back.
Not only did I destroy the clutch, but the hp level was beyond the hold capacity of the stock converter in fluid coupling.
The transmission itself was in great shape.
