Maybe this is stupid question but what's difference between 4.10 and 3.55 so 35's are good with 4.10 but not with 3.55? I know those are gear ratios but what it got to do with tire sizes.

The bigger the tire the harded to turn it, lower gearing has more get up and go but less top speed. Also If you had 35's and 3.55's when cruising on the freeway your rpm's would probably be pretty low. In my truck with 4.10's and 33's at 60mph I'm at 1900rpm. Hope that helps to answer the question.

Heres my truck with 315/75/16s on stock wheel and suspension with 3.55 gears.







And the RPMs are not lower at highway speeds... they are higher, at 65 I'm turning 2000 rpms. At 75 I'm turning 2200 rpms.
