315's w/3.54 Miliage

I am wondering if I put 315s on my truck something not that agressive like bfg all teriain and was driving intersate would my milage go up or down. I like the way dodges look with leveling kits and 315 or 35's. I drive about 90% interstate.

Last interstate trip I took I averaged 22.4 mpg. That was swingin into Edge Products for a couple dyno runs. Impressive from a big truck with 500 rwhp

Before I did my exhaust or any performance upgrades, I was only getting around 13 to 14 mpg with my 315's on a road trip to Nebraska. After I put all of my mods on I'm am getting around 16.5 mpg just driving around town, haven't had a chance to take it on another road trip yet.............guess I better do that before winter comes

I tend to get around 19-20 mpg driving in the city or on the highway. Mine don't change that much. I have noticed that the more performance parts I put on my mpg has gone up.

with this combo keep in mind the speedo, and odo will be off a good bit unless you recalibrate for the larger tires. So you'll actually have gone further than your odo. says you have. With my 315's and 3.55's highway mileage is around 18 as long as I stay under 70. This was with the edge on level 1, sublevel 5. I now run level 1, sublevel 2 or 3 mileage is definately better, but I havent figured it yet

My mileage went down with the 315's. With the D25's and 315's I'me getting about 2MPG less than I was. I'm not calling anyone a liar, but I have a hard timing believing the people that say their MPG increased with 315's. It defy's the laws of physics.

new size/old tire size=answer x trip reading=actual milage
(speedometer)=actual speed

35 new tire/30 old tire=1.16 x 300trip=350 actual miles
(55mph=64mph)

depends how you drive. It will take a little bit more to get the bigger tires rollin, but cruising down the highway at 70, the r's are much lower and she runs much better. Stopping and starting alot, you will prob see a decrease. I drive 35 miles to work everday and it is all highway.
