With that boost elbow you just need an allen wrench to adjust the set screw in and out. This will raise and lower your boost.

If you can operate a screwdriver, allen wrench, and a crescent wrench you can install and tweak a boost elbow.

My wastegate is totally disabled, I put a brass plug in the port on the turbo so it can not open. As long as you don't have mods to the point that your truck will build more than 35PSI you should be fine. Mine will only build about 32-33PSI empty. It would probably build more if I were pulling something. I also have a 12Valve in a Freightliner with the wastegate disabled, same results about 35 PSI on it loaded or not and it weights 16K empty. The boost elbows don't work very well anyway.

Robins,
I linked a picture of the brass boost elbow you need for your turbo. It will let you create more boost and let you make power much longer (wider power band), but it's not really going to make much more horsepower than what your Quadzilla already makes, but the drivability difference is huge.

Right, the 4510 is an air filter with a 4.5" inlet. Measure your tube first to be sure it will fit. That would be your best option. I try to stay away from oiled filters.

To plug up you wastegate complete, just pull the hose off the wastegate actuator. Plug-up the brass fitting. You should be ok, if you pull more than 35 psi then go the reduced flow (orifice) brass elbow route. A visa grip would work to just pinch the rubber hose. You could also put in a pressure regulator set at any pressure you want to dump open your wastegate. Of course this would complete dump open your wastegate, which is good at 35 psi. I've pulled 37 psi out my old HY-35, lots and lots of times. If you have high egt's crank up your boost. If your not making anymore power from 27 psi vs. 30 psi, why play with it. The reasons I can see to increase your boost is egt's and smoke control (power). Installing the brass fitting may or may not fully open the wastegate at 35 psi, there is lots of variables like actuator condition and its length (this determine the holding force on the wastegate flapper). I had one actuator that was almost seized shut and took 40 psi to open vs the stock 20 psi.
