305/70/17 or 315/70/17?

305/70/17 or 315/70/17?
time to buy new tires. Been running 33x12.50-16.5 tires and 16.5 rims. Because this size is getting harder to find, I figured its a good excuse to by new wheels and tires. looking at the XD715 but not sure about tire size. I am getting about 19-20 MPG with the tires that are on it with 3.55 gears. I also have a 2' level kit on the front of the truck so I don't think the 315's would rub but which size tire do you guys think would be better for MPG with the 3.55 gear? 315/70 or 305/70 that is the real question. Thanks

The 305's will get better mpg than the 315's. The 3.55 gears are a little tall for 35's. If you have aftermarket wheels with a little more offset, then you should be able to clear 35's with just a leveling kit though.
