3" lift
i have a 97 dodge 3500 dually, im gonna put a 3" lift on it and was wondering what tires i should go with. im gonna get some new wheels that are 16x8. i just need to know how wide of tire i can run in the back with out the tires touching each other

i think its more of a 35x12.40-.50 but since the wheels are gonna be 16x7.5 i dont know if a 12" wide tire will look good, wat do u think. and a 2inch spacer doesnt sound that bad

right on. I need a set for the dually conversion on my truck. I haven't decided what I want for tires yet, but 35" would be fine or 9r16 michelin XLs or 325/75r16 XMLs or 22.5 alcoas.......tough decisions

A few words of caution......once you go wtih the 315 meats, you are a candate for the "death wobble". At 55+ MPH you will get a wobble that will dirve you nuts. I have been chasing it for 2 years and have yet to totally get rid of it. $$$$$

I've had 315s before on this truck, BFG MTs SRW. never a problem for me. and my front end is loose, and no steering stabilizer....that got ripped off on a wheeling trip this past summer. No change.
