I average about 15mpg with my truck. But i hammer on it all day long. I have never honestly babied my truck for a entire tank of fuel. I have 6" suspension skyjacker lift and 35x12.50 BFG A/T's.
I love the look and stance of my truck.

If I hammer on it or am towing, 15 to 16 mpg. But if I take it easy, I'll see 17 mpg. Now If I try, which isn't very often, I can get 19 mpg.
But as for power, my truck runs awesome. But I do lag a bit from a start while towing. And while towing at 55 to 60 mph, I'm either lugging the motor while in overdrive or running high RPM if out of overdrive. In these cases, it seems like an in-between gear would help. I usually just run faster to counter this; but in Cali, 55 mph is the law while towing. Because of these issues, I'm debating on installing some 4.10 gearing.

I like the stance, too. Oh, hey, there is a truck beack there.
I ran 315's BFG AT's and loved em. They are light for the size, which helps alot. I would get about 17mpg in town and 21-23mpg on the hwy. This was with a smarty and DD Super Mental injectors. I later ran M7's and got 16-17 in town and 19-21 on the hwy.
I droped to 33" toyo MT's and lost about 1-2mpg due to the extra weight.
