Look at RPMOutlet.com for good price on 409 4"stainless..if you order 5" though be sure they got in stock or prepare to wait on the slow boat from China. I put their 4" sytem on mine and like it okay, but I mainly bought it for the pipes...I am gonna put a resonated AeroTurbine muffler on here in a few days. I'll let ya'll know how I like it. the glasspak is tolerable in the cab till about 70MPH then it gets a good drone.

Good to read a thread saying all of the nice things about Michigan winters and salt. lol I will probably go s.s. when I upgrade to 4" as well, then the only problem is, the truck will rust in half leaving me with not only a good drivetrain, but a nice exhaust to.

I'm doubting that price by well over $100.00
That would ge a good price for 4" Aluminized.

I got the 4" Moto blue 409 stainless system from RPM for right at $400 delivered. Today I just replaced the glasspak with an AeroTurbine 4040L (resonated) .......daaaaaaaang it sounds reallly sweeeeeeeeeet ! I can also tell a seat of the pants difference. Under acceleration it has more growl than the glasspak but there is no drone at 70 MPH. Its is quieter at level speeds.

Does the MBRP have a drone to it at all? I think I may be settled on that one but drone is a no go with me. Nor is outrageous glasspak terd noise either . Thanks again!

How about Silverline Exhaust

You really can't beat this deal. 410 bucks for 409 Stainless (better than 304 for longevity) 4" turbo back w/ tip Did I mention Free shipping

http://shop.ivalueinternet.com/bigex...ct_id/2317.htm

I ordered the same kit 4 months ago from them. It got to CA in less than a week and it fit perfect. All I had to do was cut the straight pipe to the correct length for my truck/bed combination.

It is quiet enough not to cause annoyance, or sound like a semi truck. But when you step on the go pedal it gives a good bark!

Infact I have a good story that demonstrates this. I was driving my truck on a local (remote) road near Ft. Hunter Liggett when along side the road I saw a wild pig coming down the hill about to enter my path. Well I had 3 choices: 1. slow down and proceed with caution 2. Hit the pig (probably not the best idea w/ stock bumber and 2" leveling kit) or 3. Accelerate ahead of the pig and beat him to the point. I chose option # 3! Well I decided to hit the gas and cut the pig off. As doing so my truck down shifted and let out a roar. By this time the pig was coming down a small hill about 12ft. from the roadside. Well he heard the roar for sure! In fact it scared the **** out of the pig so much it actually fell onto its own neck trying to turn around too fast to get the hell away from my truck.

Unfortunately I was by myself, which didn't keep me from laughing for several minutes.

Just my $.02
