2nd Gen....Smarty+XZT....?

I PM'd Quad, but haven't gotton a response yet, so I'll throw it out here.

I did a search on "XZT+Smarty" and got a lot of hits for 3rd Gen, but nothing for 2nd Gen.

I know how the Smarty and EZ combination is, but who has tried the Smarty and the XZT? The EZ+Smarty seemed to feel stronger than just the Smarty alone at higher RPM's. Are the results with the Smarty+XZT about the same....bettter....worse?

The Catcher/Smarty on #9 stacked with an Xzillaraider is sick, nice smooth power with very little smoke.

Why don't you try a fueling box instead? The smarty/ timing boxes can only add so much fuel and any one adds enough timing. Basically you'd just looking at different fueling/ timing maps stacking a smarty with a timing box.

Bottom line is you can spend $400 on the box and maybe see 5 hp or you could spend $500 on a Blue Chip apb and see maybe 85.

Both the XZillaraider and XZT are fueling modules. Neither one are timing boxes and neither one are on the Can Bus.

And the XZT is similar to the APB and the Xzillaraider is muc stronger.

From what I could gather on your webpage the xzt is closer to the EZ

Oh no...don't tell me Charlie is getting the itch for more power. What will that last century truck do?

The XZT is a pretty mild hp gain but, it is all controlled via the direct connection to the pump.

It is a lot different than an EZ.

We do have a competing product coming for the EZ but, this is not it.

FUNNY HA! HA!

I know about the slight HP gain, but no one has answered the question if the XZT gets the higher RPM power you get on the EZ.

The XZT will run off and leave an EZ from start to finish. At throttle it has a much larger torque curve than the EZ.

You are fairly limited on the Can Bus as to how much and how fast you can fuel.

Thanks Quad,
It sounds like it will probably do what I want to. Since the Smarty has timing, I want something that will add fuel.

I'm really not looking for that much power, just a little something at the top. I sure don't want something that would tempt me to tap the pump wire.

Tap it, just don't leave it maxed out all the time =P I was seriously considering the apb at one point in time. I like the idea of just turning the dial for fuel whenever you want a little something extra
