I have been running a Smarty on my 2001 for over a year. What kind of downloads are you looking for? Here is a link to their website.

I think the 2nd Gen crowd are the red-headed step child in Smarty land so I wouldn't hold your breath on anything exciting being released anytime soon. I'm seriously thinking about selling mine because I need more top end and I don't think Smarty has anymore to offer in that department.

I assure you it will eventually will come! And it will be as great as the other smarty programs! But we all know how it works, You have to address the supply demand. Theres much more demand for the 3rd Gen smarty!
I sell 1 2nd Gen Smarty to every 4 3rd Gen Smartys I sell!

I believe Marco has said in the past that he has reached the limit of the VP44's programming.
Only thing he can do for us 2nd genners is little tweaks, like getting full pedal back in the higher numbers.
Hopefully he can do something about the cruise control surge, as it's the only thing I don't like.
Oh, and perhaps keeping the tire size when going back to "stock".
I'd like my speedometer to work correctly if I have to take the truck to the Dealer for anything.

I would think that the fix for this is just a simple directory change. I don't think I've taken my truck back to stock since getting the Smarty, but it would be nice to be able to sell the truck with the bigger wheels and tires and know that it displays the correct speed for the new owner.
