285/75/16 trxus muds

bought some new shoes for the dodge. went with the super swamper trxus muds in the 285 size. they are e-rated at 3700 lbs. i ahve heard through some others that they are getting good mileage out of them for a mud tire. i don't care either way, i drive 2 miles to work. but the tread pattern and high load rating sold me on them. and i have always wanted a real mud tire. does anyone else have experience with them? i will post about my first impressions after i get em mounted.

Keep us posted on mileage with them. I was looking at getting a set but decided not to cause I thought they were too soft. Thanks

My buddy ran these tires on his ferd, he said it felt like he was riding on marshmallows, the side walls are just to soft. He only got about 30km out of them. He went back to bfg muds and gets over double the millage out of them.
Interco does not make tires that are ment for the highway.

well either way i drive 2 miles to work each day now, so it would take me forever to put 20k miles on the tires. we'll see though. i bought them through summit at $155 a piece so it wasn't that bad.

I have some.I'm not impressed. They might be alright if you aren't towing heavy.I bought them for the load rating because of my 5th wheel.I will stick with the bf mudders. If you don't put on alot of miles and do alot of wheelin I think you will like them.

well the tires are on. they make the truck look wicked. they have a very deep tread depth. so anyway i went fron a load d 305 tire to a load e 285 and i can tell a big difference. these tires are alot stiffer in the sidewall. they should be since they are 10 ply. they are riding smooth and quite. i think they will get noisier when i get some miles on them.
