275RV Injectors
What kind of peformance will I see upgrading from the stock to these with my module. And will I get much more smoke? Or would it be more resonable to go on ebay and buy nozzles and install them on my stockies.

275 will puff a little more over stock and gain about 40-50 hp. Nozzles will get you a whole lot more for close to the same price. How's your clutch? EGT might be an issue as well.

Texas Diesel Power is installing a kevlar clutch that a guy manufactures here in texas. Is there any kind of flow bench or anything that you have to put the injectors on after installing the tips

If your getting an upgraded clutch, skip the 275's and go to something bigger. The 275's will give you a nice increase, but I wouldn't waste my money on them if you can go bigger. Only reason I went with them is because my transmission is stock.

Talked to John Robison that owns Texas Diesel Power and he said they had to be flow tested and pop off had to be set. Sounds like an awesome deal on the jammers did you install them yourself DieselHO

Tips were easy to change over (thats what i did). I did have a experienced friend, run me through the injector removal and install for this first time. I didn't have them pop tested. I was told that you didn't have to when they are new. Havent had any problems with them at all.

Check with Diesel Dynamics (Keith Locklier), they sell the tips and will do the pop-off testing I believe. If you're not close, maybe they can recommend a closer shop. Keith knows his stuff, he's helped me and is involved with the Wolverine drag truck.

I put the stage 5 injector nozzles bought from e-bay in mine and LOVE THEM!! They give me an increase at least equal to the edge comp! When I have both going it's awesome. Took me about 3 - 3.5 hours to install. Stock tranny won't nearly stand all the torque though. Upgrades are in my future for sure.

The tips do not need to be pop tested.
I just installed a 2nd set of "jammer" tips on stock injectors.
They worked great and idle very smooth.
So far I have swapped stage 3's and stage 1's without a hitch!
To swap tips:
You need a vice (not an addiction ) the kind that mounts to a work bench.
Drill about a 7/8 or 1" hole in the middle of a 2x4 then cut it in half in down the center of the hole.
You want to be able to clamp onto the injector body so you can untorque the retainer nut without marring the body.
Once secured with wood vice jaws, use a 15mm deep well and ratchet of choice to remove the nut, it backs out standard right hand thread.
Left loose, right tight.
Just untorque enough so that you can use your hand to do the rest.
Take out of vice before removing nut all the way (dont want to drop critical parts).
The rest is easy, just make sure to remember how each injector comes apart.
Keep the parts clean and orientate the internal holes during re-assembly.
Torque to 34ft lbs and you good to go.
Keep everything clean!!
