I am looking for slightly more power for towing in the 1500-2100 rpm range to make up for not having 4.10 gears. Would this combo allow me to stay in 5th gear more? It seems like a more reliable setup to me than an electronic box, but could this hurt the motor in any other way? Thank you

Yes more power in 5th, wont hurt engine.

I've got 275's and a EZ.
I used to keep in out of overdrive when pulling my horse trailer just so I could make it over some of the midwest hills. Now with the new setup, I keep it in overdrive, set the cruise control at about 67 to 70 and it just rolls with out dropping down!

The 275's and an EZ is the perfect combination for you. The 275's might help a little by themselves but I strongly suggest the 275's and EZ. Either one's not gonna hurt your motor.

EZ and 275s is what i did to stay in 5th longer works very well

I see you have no bombing mods on your truck! The RV275 and Edge EZ combo will yield a big factor!
But be warned!! this is ONLY THE BEGINNING!!
