275 Injector question

I found a cheap set of 275 RV injectors and I am wondering if this would be a good addition to my stock truck. I'm trying to stay away from replacing my clutch if I can. Thinking of going with the Quad M3 mileage box too.

I had good results with them, i added those and an ez at the same time and got an instant boost in milage about 1.5 to 2 mpg.

Yes they are a great little bump in power , not enough to hurt your clutch either.

Great upgrade if you don't want to hurt your clutch. Be sure to pay no more than 244 to your door for them. Just search "injector cummins" and you will find the 244 dollar ones. I'm not certain if they are actual bosch, but they idled fine, made the power and were not very smokey.

I have 275s and dont like them much, I think they hurt my mileage because they are kinda dirty. When I get the cash I am gonna upgrade to some new era 100's and see how they do for mileage.

No they wont hurt your clutch. I didn't notice any mileage change one way or another. Didn't really give more power, but they seemed to smooth out the power. From what I've read, RV275's really don't add extra fuel, but sprays fuel in a more efficient manner. Just what I've read.......

But I'm real happy how they run now, especially after adding the XZT+ with the Aggressive tune..............

I put in RV275s only for fear of my clutch and barely noticed a power increase. Mileage was undiscernable. If I had to do it again, I'd go higher. The time it took to install and the $$ (even at $244) would have been better spent on slightly larger injectors just so I could feel them and have more fun.

I got mine for free is the only reason I'm running them. I'd go with something different and a little larger if i was gonna pay for a set of injectors. The power is nothing to speak of, they idle rough, and will lope after a drive and then stopping at a redlight or convenience store etc.

I have a set of RV275s, very small bump in power, no noticable change in milage. Idles fine.

I'm hoping that adding 4" exhaust, BHAF, 275's, maybe intake, and an XZT+ would be a good combination without touching the clutch. Of course due to funds I'll be doing this over a period of time and/or finding some used stuff cheaper too will help. I figure that it will be a LONG time before I get a new truck so I want to make it enjoyable. I feel lucky enough just to own my dream truck, now I want more HP.

Just remember, just beause they say they are "275 injectors" doesn't mean that they are the original Bosch injectors. There are alot of companies out there making there "own" "275" injectors, but the quality may not be as good. Make sure you buy BOSCH injectors. With the cheaper knock-offs, sometimes you get what you pay for.

Very True!!! You might want to go thru a site vendor than Ebay. I'm sure there are some guys on here that can recommend a reputable vendor.

I second what cLAYH had to say about them.
I bought Bosh off of e-bay.
