24 valve problem

It seems they could have used a better pump. This is what I found-

I'm with Doug, this is normal on a bombed truck. It seems that a combination of high boost, large injectors, and a box will cause the VP44 to "air lock". It seems to happen more with twins then on a single, but I think that is mainly because if you let off quick enough with a single to cause the problem it will bark the turbo. Kind of a audible alarm... It is not uncommon at all, during diesel drag races to see trucks on the return road bleeding injectors. I do like Doug mentioned, I take it out of gear, and keep blipping the throttle, while I slow down.

Well, I cracked his # 1, and #4 I think injector lines, and it still wouldnt start. It fired right up when I pushed him. Also, this doesent explain the miss he has now. And one more thing.... When you are racing with a 5 speed, how do you let out of it slow in order to shift gears?

doesnt happen in the short time to shift and getting back on the throttle. but with big sticks and the box all the way up if i let out in any gear at WOT while im really getting it...it will shudder, and spit and usually stall before i can get stopped unless i go to neutral and use the left foot on the brake while pumping the throttle with the right foot to keep it running.
