.22 shell or boost elbow

Well I have got a 10 plate and Im wondering whether I should get a boost elbow or use a .22 shell.What do you guys think.

.22 shell... (block off the signal line) as long as it doesn't go over ~36psi, you're fine... with a 160 pump and stock injectors, I think you'll be fine even w/ the 10 full forward... your TRANNY might not be fine, but from a turbo/boost standpoint, you will.

as long as you run the stock injectors you will be fine no matter where you put the plate. with 300 marine injectors and my plate in stock posi. I was getting around 35-38 PSI of boost.

I did mine right where it goes from the pump overthe top of the engine. some trucks are a little different but basically anywhere between the Cold side of the turbo and the WG.

Don't know about the 12v, but on mine, I simply removed the elbow on the turbo, and put in a plug(1/8 npt) and caped the elbow so no dirt gets in it, so I can hook it back up if needed.

By blocking off the boost line to the waste gate, Does this lower ETGs?

if you've added fuel and you need more oxygen to help burn it cleanly, then yes, more boost will give you more oxygen...
