I read a lot of threads but i can't find any clarification.. I will install 215hp sticks on my truck and by the same time, i want to upgrade the DVs.. I cannot make my mind between 181s or 191s. I have the stock charger w/ 12cm housing. I don't care much about the smoke, but i don't want the EGT to the roof..

181 or 191? That's the question..

the 191s are a good idea if you go to 370 injectors later on, but the next smaller size should work ok on the 215's.

 

I would go with 191's.

 

191s are good

But if you are gonna add larger than 30 injectors or some serious turbo, why not laser cuts?

Running laser cuts on the stock turbo would get hot wouldn't it?

 

I ran 322hp with 181's and 300's and a B1...I'd say go with the 191's, keep your stock sticks, and hybrid that turbo!! Should be over 300 fairly easy

But I've went to Laser Cuts now...I'll never go back

Well, i'll swap the sticks.. I have a 94, and i have a set of new stock 215hp in my garage.. I guess i'll go with the 191s.
