who has a gas tank skid plate on there 03? what did u have to order to get it. i thought i order every option but no gas tank skid plate... ??? if it didnt come on the 03 is it part of the 04 and can i just bolt it on to my 03?

On the '04 when I build a Ram, it comes up as part of the Protection Group. I did notice something odd though. I was looking at different window stickers on dealer lots and some had the gas tank skid as part of the Protection Group and others did not. On the '04, I noticed that there seemed to be a price difference. For $130 it looks liked like it included the gas tank skid, but for $85 it did not. I think I have to do a little more research but I think I'm on to something....

The 03 does not have a gas tank skid plate as an option or anything. However the 04 does list it on some of the choises.
